Terms of Service

Version 2026-01-01 · Effective 1 January 2026

These terms govern your use of the Xerta digital clinic. By creating an account you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Xerta connects you with licensed clinicians for remote general-medicine consultations, and may result in advice, treatment, prescriptions, lab orders or referrals at the clinician's professional discretion.

Xerta is not an emergency service. If you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be of the minimum age required in your country and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.

3. Medical disclaimer

Remote consultations have inherent limitations. A clinician may determine that your condition is not suitable for online care and advise you to seek in-person treatment. Always follow the guidance given to you.

4. Payments

Fees for consultations and plans are shown before you confirm. Charges are handled by our payment processor. Refund eligibility depends on whether care was delivered.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, submit false information, or use Xerta for anyone other than yourself without authorization.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Clinicians are responsible for their own clinical judgement; Xerta provides the platform enabling the consultation.
